How to Use Yoast SEO Plugin in Blogger Step by Step

Yoast is a very powerful WordPress plugin that makes bloggers life easy. it can make your website as much search engine friendly as possible. it provides you suggestions for minor updates to your blog posts to optimize them. The Yoast SEO plugin can be installed on any WordPress site. Yoast SEO plugin analyses your blog post content line by line and word by word and based on the content, it provides you solutions to optimize it.

• Red bullet point means that you have done something very wrong in your blog post.
• Orange denotes that content is fine but still it can be improved for the best result.
• Green bullet point represents that you have done a good job optimizing the content.

Limitations of Yoast Seo Plugin

As Yoast Seo Plugin is a Wordpress plugin, it can only be used for WordPress blog only. there is no alternative, it is must to have a WordPress blog to use Yoast plugin.
So, it leaves you only one choice to buy a web hosting to host a Wordpress blog.
But, we will provide a way to get a free web hosting and use it for installing the Yoast SEO plugin.

How to use Yoast Plugin for Blogger or any non-WordPress platform

Now, we will provide a solution that will overcome all the problems that we have discussed above.

STEP 1. So, firstly you have to find a free Wordpress hosting service provider to host your WordPress blog. There are many websites that provide free hosting. But I personally use ultimatefreehost.in.
After this, you have to register an account in ultimatefreehost to get free hosting. After registering, you will be provided a username and password in your Gmail account through which you can log in to your c-panel.

STEP 2. In C-Panel, scroll down to Domains section and click on Sub Domains

STEP 3. Choose any domain name and select a subdomain

and click on Create

STEP 4. Go back to C-panel, and scroll down to Software section
and click on Softaculous Apps Installer.

STEP 5. Click on the Install button to install WordPress.

STEP 6. Choose your Sub Domain and Click on Install.

STEP 7. Go to Plugins->Add New and search for Yoast Seo.

Click on Install Now and Activate it.

STEP 8. Now, go to Pages->Add New and copy the Title from your Blogger and paste in the Title section.
Similarly, copy the content from blogger and paste it below Title.

STEP 9. Scroll down to Yoast Seo Dashboard

STEP 10. Click on Snippet Preview->Edit Snippet

Here, the red line indicates that the title contains too many words. The main moto is to convert this red line into a green line. For this, you have to make some changes in the title to optimize it.

Do the same Step as above for meta description also.

STEP 11. Now, Click on Readability Analysis, you will see an analysis report in bullet points.

1. Red bullet point means that you have done something very wrong in your blog post.
2. Orange denotes that content is fine but still it can be improved for the best result.
3. Green bullet point represents that you have done a good job optimizing the content.

You can simply click on the eye icon to see where these errors are occurring.

Do the same for Seo Analysis section and Focus Keyphrase section.

After converting all Red and Orange points into Green points, you have successfully optimized your blog post.

STEP 12. After all this process, you have to copy all the content and paste it back in your Blogger.
